Calendar

How it works: Pink days are most available Scanning dates. Blue days are also available for scanning but only second as scanning dates first as Heritage makers parties, if you are interested please contact me. Green days are for online Heritage Makers parties only, I will do parties online on Blue days as well but Green days are online only. Unavailable Pink, Blue or Green days will be marked as reserved.

Choose a date that works best for you in either the Pink, Blue or Green only, call, e-mail or comment to reserve your date. I only book 2 months out, as a month passes I will update with the next upcoming month.

**Please Note: I am making a temporary exception with my bookings, I am having a new baby in August so I will be taking most of the month off as you can see, therefore if you would like to book a Heritage Makers party or a date for scanning but nothing in July or August looks good for you I am accepting early September bookings.

Scanning Appointments

I am more than happy to set up a Photo Scanning appointment with you and come to your home where you are comfortable and your photos do not need to be packed up neatly and traveled with IF you have no less than 500 Photos to be scanned in one session.

For less than 500 Photos you are more than welcome to send or bring them to my own home for scanning during my Scanning Business Hours.

I do offer in home Scan Parties to anyone who asks, IF you and each of your guests have no less than 500 photos each to be scanned in one session. A Scan Party requires no less than 3 and no more than 5 invited and committed guests plus yourself. Please see my Calendar for available dates!

Preparing Your Photos For Digital Scanning

- Gather your pictures you would like scanned. Get photos out of albums * (unless you would like to order that service from me as well)* , make sure all photos are free from any residue i.e. glue, dust, staples or tape.
-Sort through your photos and pull out ALL double prints! I will not be watching for double photos, I am not responsible for scanning and charging for multiple prints of one photo.
- Put your photos in order of size. Put smaller ones in front and larger ones in back. Please keep Polaroid photos separate and place in back. I will scan photos in size from 3"w X 3"l up to 8"w X 30" l. Also, if you have photos or documents you need scanned front and back please put them all in separate stacks, this makes the scanning process move smoothly.
- If you are sending in documents (kids art, report cards, important papers) you would like scanned please keep those separate and put behind all pictures. It is useful for these larger size items to have some sort of sturdy backing to help prevent them from getting bent. Cardboard works great.
- I will scan your photos in order they are put in, I do not reorganize photos or documents.
- Make sure your photos are all facing the same direction. They need to be right side up and face up.
- Photos that are thicker than a standard Polaroid will be scanned on a flatbed scanner at 300dpi.
- Please note- if there are water marks, stains or discolorations on the photos they will show up in the scan.
- Take care in packing your photos to ship. Try to pack them in a way that little shifting will occur. Putting a rubber band around all the pictures of the same size is a great way to ensure they stay together and in order. Use packing materials to ensure the photos are snug in your box. Do not use "POPCORN" it breaks apart and gets on the photos, it has a static cling and is very hard to get off pictures. Don't use any packing material that creates dust or debris.
- After you have banded your pictures together, place them in a zip-loc bag to keep them free from any moisture.
- Always ship your photos in a box, not an envelope. Envelopes do not protect photos from bending. The USPS provides sturdy Priority shipping boxes free of charge. If you would like to use an envelope place cardboard on either side of pictures to prevent bending.

** I charge a handling fee of $0.15 additional per photo to remove photos from albums, scan and replace. **
